Equipping students with essential skills in business, economics, communications, life skills, and practical hands-on experiences is our mission. Internship Overview:

As an EmpowerMe Arts Intern, you'll be at the forefront of creating innovative products and bringing them to market. From brainstorming new ideas to mastering the art of sales, you'll gain invaluable real world experience while making a tangible impact. Our internship is designed to provide a balance of learning, social interaction, and fun!

 

Responsibilities:

•  Collaborate with fellow interns and EMA staff to develop and create products

•  Participate in sales opportunities at markets and events with local vendors

•  Attend weekly empowering student work and training gatherings on Thursday evenings

•  Contribute ideas for product innovation and marketing strategies

•  Embrace a supportive and inclusive team environment

•  Available for a minimum of two Thursday evenings per month and a minimum of two Saturdays and one Friday per month from June 1 - September 5th, 2024

•  Learn various art skills and gain confidence in communications

•  Receive more fun perks along the way!

Requirements:

•  Students aged 14-17

•  Commitment to work 2-4 weekend events per month (5-8 hr shifts)

•  Availability for weekly Thursday gatherings

•  Passion for learning and personal growth
